Kids Course
Age group: 3-12years old
4 components: Conversation (speaking & listening), story - reading, phonics; and at higher grades writing.
Materials: developed in Japan, best suited Matsuka Phonics books and CDs, supplemented with other suitable reading, phonics, wiring materials and fun activities to stimulate learning and speaking.
Returnee children: for returnee children with higher levels, we use native English curriculum for reading and writing.
Teaching philosophy and teaching methods: the teacher goes through the 5 components of language learning using art, music, games, songs, fun activities. In class the students are to speak only English. Mothers may wait in a separate area but are not to be part of the class as this would distract the children.
Teacher: Stephen Brown is a certified ESL teacher with experience teaching children since 1986. He has taught in Canada, Taiwan, China and Japan.
